The monthly Saturday night dance was held last night. The theme was sports wear. Everyone was encouraged to wear a jersey or tee shirt with a sports affiliation. Of course, not everyone does and it really doesn’t matter whether you do or not. But it adds a bit of a fun element to the monthly dances. Next month the theme is “Black and White”. And for March it is “Parrot-heads”.
There were quite a few people at last night’s dance. Always a live rock and roll band. Mostly music from the 60’s and 70’s. People here LOVE to dance. It even gets a bit silly at times out on the dance floor.
It was a bit chilly here this morning when I was out with Abby. 39 F (4 C), with a bit of a breeze. And it is supposed to warm up to 59 F (15 C). The sky is beautifully blue, totally devoid of clouds. Carol has an open house all afternoon at the stain glass room. Might be a good day for me to go for a drive.
