Yesterday, we travelled a little over 600 miles. From Tyler, Texas to Marion , Illinois. Decent roads, little construction and good weather — in the 60’s. Between Little Rock and West Memphis, we stopped at NICK’S BBQ AND CATFISH for lunch. The place was packed. Around West Memphis (love that Lucinda William’s song), we headed north on Highway 55 up into The bottom corner of Missouri. Just before crossing over into Missouri, we saw our first Redbud trees. There were lots more once we got into Missouri. Just before Sikeston, we turned onto Highway 57 and headed into Illinois.
Long road ahead of us today.
