This summer, park management arranged for a major upgrade to the birding lounge. This area is at one end of the park library. The library is a multi-purpose building. In addition to the big selection of books, cassettes and DVD’s, there are 4 big tables for people to work on jig saw puzzles. And there is the area along the rear windows (looking out on the bird and butterfly garden), with shelves chock full of bird books, bird magazines and field guides, and 5 or 6 comfy roller/rocking chairs. The windows were all replaced this summer. My good friend, Diana Miller ( a permanent park resident) took these pictures and posted them on the park’s facebook page. Thanks, Diana. The place looks great and I can’t wait to get back there.
