Paul Carter and Larry Cornelius, a couple of birding friends from back home, arrived Saturday. I wasn’t expecting them until at least Sunday evening, considering the weather they had to travel through to get here. They left Sarnia at 6 am Friday morning. Drove to Little Rock, Arkansas and spent the night there. Then on Saturday drove from Little Rock to our place in San Benito, arriving at 6 pm. LONG days for a couple of “wild and crazy guys”.
We dragged them along the Senior Prom dance last night. This morning, Paul, Larry, Bob Turner and I will be heading over to South Padre Island for a morning of birding.
