After all the rain of the past couple of days, things turned around today. Although not warm, at least the sun was out and it was not cold. I spent some time at the library today, talking to some people as we sat and surveyed the bird garden. It was rather lively there. GREAT-TAILED GRACKELS, RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS, BLACK-CRESTED TITMOUSE, GOLDEN-FRONTED WOODPECKER, GREEN JAY, HOUSE SPARROW ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, WHITE-WINGED DOVE, INCA DOVE, CURVE-BILLED THRASHER and my first RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD of the year.
