Joe Ely is a singer/songwriter from Texas. Sometimes he is out there singing and playing on his own. Sometimes is performs with his group The Flatlanders. It was through listening to the Flatlanders that I discovered Joe Ely and I have been a big fan ever since. My friend, Mark, from Comox, British Columbia is a big fan, also, and on occasion we have exchanged some of our favourite Joe Ely songs.
