The sun was shining and the temperature was 3 C (37 F). Can’t complain about that on the 20th of November. As planned, I took to the backroads today. I drove down Falconbridge, Glendon, Parkhouse and Irish Roads.
There were quite a number of birds around. ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS, RED-TAILED HAWKS, an AMERICAN KESTREL, DOWNY and RED-BELLIED WOODPECKERS, AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS and WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS, DARK-EYED JUNCOS, AMERICAN CROWS, RING-BILLED GULLS and NORTHERN CARDINALS.
