I have driven many scenic drives over the years — the drive thru Algonquin Park, the drive thre the mountains of Virginia and Tennessee, the drive thru Glacier National Park. And today’s drive along the coast of Oregon was right near the top. Speed limit was mostly 55 miles/hr. It was windy. But I think it is always windy along the coast. And the temperature was in the 60’s, which is typical for thistime of year.
The other interesting thing was the large number of bikers ( bicycles, that is). They were everywhere going up the hills and flying downhills. Saw a herd of Elk crossing the road, too.
There were so many breath-taking views. It was awesome.
