February is just about over. It has been a pretty cold, windy, snowy month, with just a couple of short warmer days. We are ready for warmer weather.
Carol is doing a lot better. She gets around with a cane now and sometimes even walks around without it. But the issue remains pain management and therapy to get the muscles and ligaments stretched back to normal (if that is possible) again.
Last night we watched THE PASSION OF CHRIST for the first time. It is a very tough movie to watch. Makes you wonder if that is maybe what is really was like back then. It is very possible. I’m sure those were violent times. There are areas of the world where violence is much more acceptable (or at least tolerated) than here in North America. And also attitudes and approaches have changed and softened over time.
Since today is Saturday, it is a good day to listen to WCMU Public Radio. Lots of good shows. Jazz and blues this morning. Car Talk and Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me this afternoon. And of course Garrison Keeler this evening. I love this stuff.
